Takenori Komatsu
Architect
Takenori came to Utah after he finished high school in his home town of Sendai, Japan. He chose Utah because his best friend studied in Utah as an exchange student and it was the only state he knew. He graduated with a Master of Architecture degree and is a licensed architect in Utah as well as LEED Accredited Professional.
Although he is typically an indoor person, he occasionally enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, biking, and gardening for summer vegetables.
At GSBS, he works on a variety of project types, ranging from small residences to large public buildings. He excels at solving complex design issues to achieve clients’ critical goals.
