GSBS Architects was selected by Nebo School District to design a replacement for Spanish Fork Junior High School, establishing the district’s next-generation prototype for junior high schools. The approximately 172,000-square-foot, two-story building will serve 1,200 students in grades 8 and 9. Organized around a central, daylit student commons, the school will provide a variety of spaces that support learning, collaboration, gathering, exploration, and student wellness. Design is currently underway, with construction anticipated to begin in late 2026 and substantial completion targeted for summer 2028.
