The West Valley Promenade is a 4-acre urban park and streetscape project at the heart of West Valley City Center, serving as a central green space for the Fairbourne Station Development. Designed to encourage future growth, it stitches together the surrounding urban fabric to create a walkable, pedestrian-friendly environment in Utah’s second-largest city. The Promenade features a mix of passive lawns, walking trails, interactive and decorative water fountains, restrooms, picnic areas, interpretive signage, and a themed scale installation that shares the site's layered history. Tree-lined Lehman Avenue is designed to host festivals, farmers markets, and community events. Bordered by transit, residential, retail, civic buildings, and a hotel, the Promenade is a vibrant urban hub. Plaza spaces support year-round programming, with design elements—including restrooms and shade structures—shaped to evoke the Jordan River and historic irrigation canals. Historic themes throughout the site honor pioneer settlers and diverse communities.
