GSBS Architects created a public plaza to provide a tranquil environment for visitors to gather, enjoy lunch or simply enjoy nature—while complying with Federal Safety guidelines. 

This plaza incorporated the historic public fountain, grid patterns of the Salt Lake City street layout and patterns of the building design. Bicycle racks, a flagpole, lighted bollards, security cameras, fixed and moveable furniture are integral to the design.

Special attention to grading, ADA regulations and drainage were paramount to the success of this project.
