Architect LEVEL 3 – UTAH Office
GSBS Architects is an award-winning, inter-disciplinary design firm with a collaborative culture that supports career growth and advancement within the firm.
We have immediate openings, in our Salt Lake City Office, for licensed architects with 8+ years of experience and strong design sensibility. A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and technical aspects of large, complex projects
Present directly to client groups
Plan projects and direct full teams to execute goals and deliverables
Provide subject matter expertise on building types and architectural systems
Provide guidance to less experienced staff
Draft project specification, including Divisions 0 and 1
Prepare complex scopes of work and fee proposals
Participate in business development strategies and take lead on specific marketing efforts
Competencies:
Communicates complex information clearly and credibly to clients and teams
Organizes design process, coordination and deliverables effectively
Leads and maintains design integrity throughout project
Collaborates across design disciplines to achieve best outcomes
Delegates work effectively, enabling teammates to succeed
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam and Masterspec
General understanding of BIM
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and profit-sharing bonuses. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience. GSBS values and prefers in-person collaboration but gives employees the flexibility to work from non-office locations at times and when effective and coordinated with project, team, and firm needs.
