Ian is a design professional originally from Ogden, Utah. His experience spans from high-end residential design to hands-on community construction projects, including his participation in ColoradoBuildingWorkshop’s Aiken Audubon Research Outpost, a recipient project of AIA Colorado’s 2025 Award of Excellence. Ian brings a local’s perspective and a fresh energy to his professional environment, always looking for new ways to engage with his community.

When he is not at GSBS, Ian participates in seasonal sports from skiing, running, and golf. He values the time spent exploring Salt Lake City’s urban landscape, always with a film camera or sketchbook in hand. He enjoys maintaining a balanced lifestyle that keeps him active and connected to both the people and the places he loves most.

As part of GSBS’s Architecture team, Ian contributes his design skills to the firm’s diverse array of projects. He is committed to professional growth and collaboration with his colleagues to support the architectural excellence and community-focused mission that GSBS is known for.
