The special character of this building was important to the City of Heber to reflect their long history of this town.  The architectural design had to reflect the old architecture of Heber but have the modern amenities and current technology necessary for a new building of this type.

The project needed to convey a friendly face to the community so that they are approachable; this only improves the relations of City Police Department’s to the public.  The single level building incorporating residential style roof with front door appeal lends itself to this concept.

This durable design is sufficient to meet the city’s needs for a 25-year period, and includes space for the City’s police department, a Justice court and a multi-use Community room.
