Jill grew up in Utah and discovered Interior Design in High School. To appease her mother, she selected Interior Design as an alternate elective her senior year. As fate would have it, Interior Design was the only class that fit into her schedule. To her surprise, Jill discovered that she really loved the idea of beautifying the world around her. She already loved art, but wanted to try a more structured route.
Soon she discovered that Utah State University had an Interior Design Program, and after a tour of the campus, she was hooked. After 4 years of long nights in the studio, slurpee runs and odd hours in the computer lab, she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design in 2002. As hard as it was to leave her job as a grocery checker, she moved back home, found the man of her dreams, got married, bought a home in Magna and started her family.
Jill started her Interior Design Career with another firm, but landed at GSBS in January 2005. She is happy to be a part of a wonderful work family and still loves the opportunity Interior Design gives her to make a difference in the world around her.
Jill also loves working with kids and has three of her own. When away from the office, she is surrounded by Lego bricks, Princesses, Super Heroes and all things Cub Scouts—serving as her local Pack’s Cub Master.
