FRANKIE WELLMAN

IT ADMINISTRATION

Frankie got his first computer in 1982 and remembers spending hours copying code from computer magazines to play games. (Of course, sharing a computer with his siblings back then often meant the heartache of lost work when they would inadvertently turn off the computer.) But that love of technology sparked a career path that led him to GSBS. Frankie's job here is to safeguard GSBS from the IT glitches, external threats, and let's be honest—user errors— that might hamper the production of quality work.

When not keeping GSBS technology running smoothly, Frankie can be found riding one of his motorcycles down some back highway or dirt trail in the middle of nowhere. And of course he still loves experimenting with technology at home including playing video games with grandson, Jack. (Though these days he keeps his sisters far from the power button.)

Frankie began his time at GSBS as a contract employee, helping with behind the scenes IT support. As a full-time employee, he now mans our virtual help desk and is the first call for technical issues or questions. He enjoys using his time here to broaden his knowledge base and learn new technologies and processes. Frankie gets a great sense of accomplishment from resolving issues and helping others work through difficult times with their technology.
