Director of Marketing & Business Development
As an Air Force brat, Eric was born in Sacramento, CA and spent a solid eight years in the Texas panhandle before finally settling in Utah, where he was introduced to snow—which he then used to make a snowball and hit Donny Osmond in the ear (true story).
Eric got a degree in journalism from BYU, but immediately forsook that high-minded profession to pursue a 20 plus-year career in the lurid business of advertising, as a copywriter, creative director and ad agency owner. Along the way, he cofounded a successful chocolate company and a not-quite-as-successful web-analytics startup.
Eric likes to do a lot of things—travel, eat, read, run, garden, open-water swim, golf, ski, listen to jazz—or sit around doing nothing at all. At GSBS, he strives to make the firm look as good as we really are, and to land projects that tap into our deep reservoir of talent and stretch us to become even better.
