Economic & Planning Analyst – Utah Office ▾

GSBS Architects (Utah Office) has an immediate opening for an Economic & Planning Analyst. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Identify and gather socio-economic, demographic and planning information and data.
  • Complete spreadsheet based models for demographics, socio economic and planning.
  • Using Geographic Information Systems analyze and map geospatial information to enhance understanding and analysis of socio-economic, demographic and planning information and data.
  • Summarize methodology and findings using text, graphs and tables.
  • Develop and prepare public information and outreach materials including maps, charts, graphs and photographs.
  • Attend stakeholder and public outreach meetings to answer questions and generate and document input and comments.
  • Summarize comments and input from various meetings.Candidates should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as ESRI and Access. Ability with Implan or similar economic modeling software, AutoCad or Revit and SketchUp is preferred.

Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

This is a full-time position, with benefits. Salary range of $44,500-$46,500, depending upon experience.

Intern Architect – Utah Office ▾

GSBS Architects - Utah Office - has an immediate opening for an intern architect. Graduate degree from an accredited institution is required, or is anticipated spring of 2015.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash preferred. Experience with Sketchup, Rhino/Grasshopper, V-ray, and 3ds Max preferred. Proficiency in Revit preferred.

This is a full-time position, with benefits. Salary range of $19 to $21 per hour, depending upon experience.

Architectural Student Summer Intern – Utah Office ▾

GSBS (Utah office) has an opening for an architecture student summer intern (mid-May through mid-August). You must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or undergraduate architectural studies program.

Ability in Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup and Rhinoceros preferred. Model building, presentation graphics, and design-related research skills preferred.

This is a full-time temporary position, with no benefits. Hourly wage of $13-$15 per hour, depending upon experience.
